According to the news media immigrants are being rounded up. They are being accosted from their homes and ripped from their families.
They are being stopped at shopping malls and asked to produce "papers".
Apparently we are deporting "criminals".
And we are learning that the definition of "criminal" for I.N.S includes misdemeanors like jumping a turnstile.
Misdemeanors are being lumped in with felonies.
Trump recently broadened the categories of people who could be targeted for immigration enforcement to anyone who had been charged with a crime, removing an Obama-era exception for people convicted of traffic misdemeanors, Kagan said.
This is broadsweaping. This is scarry, terrifying and historically parallels the techniques that Hitler implimented to purge the world of Jews.
It's time to BUILD SANCTUARY CITIES!
