Chimp Attack

What are people thinking? Let me paint you a picture of the life of a "pet" chimpanzee.

First, chances are the chimp was captured from the wild. That mean it's mother was probably brutally slaughtered right in front of the infant. That makes for big trauma!

Second, these animals are trained privately and in circuses for human profit.

Third, once these animal reach an unmanageable age (usually around two years old)they are sold to laboratories or roadside shows to life out the rest of their thirty years in utter horror.

What was this woman doing with a 14year old Chimp. Further what the hell was she doing lacing it's tea with Zanax? Had she been drugging this animal like this for years to keep it placated? This IS NOT a baby. This is a wild animal and it deserves our protection, love and respect. The chimp snapped!!!!

There is however a wonderful organization called. Save the Chimps, http://www.savethechimps.org/ that takes in these unwanted animals. Take a look at the site, bring your kids, adopt a chimp and help educate other on this utter selfish stupidity.

SAVE The CHIMPS !!!!!

Save the Chimps is an organization run out of Florida by Dr. Carole Noon, who rescues Chimpanzees from research facilities, the pet trade and entertainment companies. If you and your children need a great New Year's Eve project that will hold the imagination for years to come I recommend you go and adopt a chimp.

These are incredible animals who have all been abandoned by their human counterparts and some have spent decades in windowless cages waiting for their fate to unfold.

Because this is a sanctuary and the goal is to give these animals peace in their golden years it is not open to the public for tours but their website keeps you up to date and even offers a kids section to visit.

Please take a look ....the stories will blow you away. www.savethechimps.org
