A Halloween Party at the Carl Schurz Park

Every year there is a very special Halloween Party in the Carl Schurz Park called the Halloween Howl. This is a time of years where dogs and their owners dress up in costumes and prance around for prizes, cookies and treats. It has become a neighbourhood tradition in this part of the world.

Upper east side dogs are very savvy and they know their in costume and get into it with their owners ..big time! This event tons of fun, and very kid friendly so bring a camera. And if there is such a thing as reincarnation I'm hoping to reserve a place as an Upper East side dog in Manhattan.

This is a pic of my dog Henry and myself . Henry is in costume as a chicken which he has worn every year for the past ten years.

So you don't miss any more events at the park.

The annual Caroling and Tree Lighting Celebration is coming up on Sunday December 7th between East End and 86th from 5:30 to 6:30.
