The Secret to Eternal Youth

Hallelujah! Eureka!  I solved the secret to eternal youth for under a buck! Where is my Pulitzer prize?

I have discovered the secret to eternal youth. Well, I'm over 50, so eternal youth is anything below 40. But over the last 4 months, I not only feel like twenty, but I'm being treated like I am. Poof!!

Through careful observation and first-hand experience, I noticed that an awful lot of young men were chatting me up in the dog run.

And I would catch them peeking at me when they thought I was not looking. Something strange was up. What could it be?  So I thought to myself,  yes, there are young men who have a thing for older women, but this was out of control.

All of a sudden, they everywhere following  me around in the grocery store, asking me weird things  like, "where can I buy asparagus  and is the fried tofu any good?"

I hadn't got this much attention since...I can't remember when. And then, Eureka! It hit me. These guys had no idea how old I was.  All they saw was the hair and the eye make-up that I applied carefully and heavily every day because it was the only thing anyone saw.

In the time of COVID, I have stumbled on the secret. Yep. After all these years of women paying for skin creams,  getting plastic surgery and injections, changing their diet, taking supplements, and drinking smoothies. Who knew the answer was so simple.

I am here to tell you that all you need to harness eternal youth are two simple things. First, wear a  COVID mask, and second, focus on heavy eye make-up.

Eyes are the windows to the soul, but they are also age resistant.  True, a couple of crows feet walk here and there, but that's an easy cover up with a good foundation.

So ladies no matter what your age, all the guys see is your eyes. The rest is left up to the imagination. And if there is anything men can find do well when it comes to women, is imagine what women might look like.

Enjoy being chatted up but be responsible, because these young men can be your sons, so treat them that way.

Let's have fun but don't let it get to your head. Because when the masks come off, age goes on.

Bam!

Let's stay safe and sexy together!

Burt starts to Reincarnate

My Burt is gone, disappeared. He has turned into this little twig and  embalmed himself. He seems to be holding on to the plant with two silky strings comng out of his body from around the neck area. It is a very solemn time for me and Bert. No one really knows when he will emerge. I will wait.

Will the butterfly remember the caterpillar?

Channeling my Yogi #3

The soul can never be a piece of Real Estate.

The heart cannot be weighed and
         exchanged for gold.

You can't catch love and call it
           a commodity.

Chris-Hanukkah: Anyone can celebrate

Here's the deal.

The story goes that a really long time ago, (think Old Testament) the Jewish people wanted to celebrate the opening of their temple, religious freedom and self-sacrifice.

Dilema:

They only had just enough oil to  light one candle to celebrate.

Solution:

Pray for a miracle.

Result:

Miracle answered.
Enough oil appeared to light eight days worth of candles.

Just like there was not enough oil for the lamps, I did not have enough candels so my Menorah holds seven. Enough for one week.

There was not a Menorah left in all of Boca Raton Florida

What is up with that?

So I made mine out of bread . Rye bread!

Once again proving that anyone can celebrate Hanukkah.

Happy Chris-Hanukkah.

Stay tuned for Christmas.

And don't forget Santa works for everyone so don't be afraid to pour on the gifts.

Summer 2016 Dream Makers Collection

This is my summer collection for 2016. Bracelets and Wall hanging. They are from my Dream Makers Collection series "Mary the Elephant".
These  Dream Makers were  inspired by Mary the Elephant.
Mary lived in the early 1900's She was one of the first circus animals of her kind. Very few, people  had ever seen a live Elephant!
No one knew how to take care of them, what to feed them or how to treat them.
If you were wondering what about all the fuss was about re:  Barnum and Bailey using elephants in the circus; this is a bit of the history on how these animals were treated.
Back to our story...
One day Mary  trampled a man .She was walking to the circus ring in front of the whole town.
Aside
When circus elephants got to old to perform or too expensive to feed. The circus owner would have to put them to death. A gun that effective was scarce so it couldn't be shot in the head. The beast was too hard the kill. And then what would one do with the body? Burning it was out of the question and burying it would cost too much in terms of manpower. The only was the circus owners could get rid of it was to starve it to death.
This happenstance moment that happened to Mary the Elephant proved to solve all the circus owners problems. The animal would die, and the townsfolk would pay for its burial.
End.
.
Truth is Mary was starving to death so she went to pick up a watermelon rind that had dropped on the dusty road. The drunk abusive man who was sitting on her back beat her and beat her until she could take no more. She threw him to the ground and stepped on his head which, newly configured, now looked like the pieces  of the water she had reached for to eat..
The judge on the County in which this nightmare transpired  sentenced her to death by hanging.
Huge crowds came to watch as a great crane hung her. The first time the cables snapped and they left her moaning on the ground in pain for hours. Then they hoisted her up again and let her dangle there well into the night
A year ago I channeled her. She wanted to be in the circus again. She loved the crowds and the  cheering .
These small wall hangings and bracelets  are inspired by her happy moments.
They cheered when she lived. They cheered when she died!
Mary so wanted to be remembered. These pieces represent her joyful heart, her body all decked out and her soul  ready for a day filled with majestry, mystery, cheering crowds and love.
These pieces roar for Mary!
They cheered when she lived. They cheered when she died.

P.S. I have no idea why the underlined text just appeared. For some reason I cannot remove the lines.  Maybe...it's the ghost of Mary.
