I think we have missed the point. The emphasis of the press and academics should be on the reaction to the wall, the psychology and the history.
Walls in China, Germany, North Korea create societies which become dictatorial or worse. The wall is a state of mind that makes a country turn in on itself.
That's why the opposition is so viseral. Now it's time to explain that to folks.

California Gov. Jerry Brown (D) signed a landmark bill into law on Friday aimed at banning the sale of cosmetics that have been tested on animals.
The California Cruelty-Free Cosmetics Act, authored by Democratic state Sen. Cathleen Galgiani, prohibits manufacturers to “import for profit, sell, or offer for sale” any cosmetic product that was developed or made using an animal test, if the test occurs after the law takes effect on Jan. 1, 2020. That means products developed using animal testing may still be sold, as long as the testing does not continue after that date. Violations are punishable by a $5,000 fine, plus an additional $1,000 for each day the violation continues.
Animal tests used in the cosmetic industry include painful skin and eye irritancy experiments, as well as toxicity evaluations that involve exposing animals to deadly substances, sometimes by force-feeding or inhalation. The most commonly used animals are mice, rats, rabbits and guinea pigs. The vast majority are killed when testing is complete.
We are not here to race one another to the top but rather to keep one another from falling down.

I made an interesting observation today. The computer has the power to change the clocks to whatever time it's wants, and that's a scarry thing. We have relinquished one of the most important discoveries in humanity and we are entrusting it to a computer.

Well let me tell you.I was engrossed in work so I looked around to see if it was lunchtime.
My kitchen clock said 11:30am,
My computer clock said 12:30.
My stove stove clock said 1:25pm.
And you know where I went to find the truth? My phone! Why did I trust it that much? What if the system was hacked and the time changed? How would I verify the true time ? That scared the heck out of me. It means that time can be manipulated by AI and smart phones and that can mean the downfall of civilization.

More than 100 whales are being held in cramped and potentially illegal enclosures on Russia's Pacific east coast. Prosecutors are investigating the site near the city of Nakhodka, which has been dubbed a "whale jail" by local media.
Eleven orca and 90 beluga whales are being held in the pens, and activists fear they are illegally being sold to Chinese water parks and aquariums, contravening laws on the capture of wild whales.
Some of the animals have been in containment since July, CBS News correspondent Debora Patta reported on Wednesday.
A video shared on social media on Monday shows a whale being lifted out of a small container by a crane in preparation, activists believe, to ship it to China.
It is illegal to capture wild whales except for educational and scientific purposes following a worldwide ban on commercial whale hunting in 1982. However, orca whales, or killer whales as they are often called, can fetch as much as $6 million at theme parks in China.

Russian newspaper Novaya Gazetta has reported that the four companies that own the containers exported 13 whales to China between 2013 and 2016.
Between 2012 and 2015, the companies allegedly involved were granted permission to capture ten orcas in the wild for educational purposes. However, seven of those whales were exported to China, where one was valued at over $1 million on a customs form.
Earlier this year, Russian authorities called on the Interior Ministry to launch a fraud investigation over the capture and sale of the seven whales.
Other firms are reportedly renting out whales in an effort to get around certain restrictions on the sale of wild sea mammals.
Video shot from a helicopter of the containment tanks shows dozens of beluga whales in tight quarters. Experts say that given the size of the tanks, many of the whales must be calves. The capture of whale calves is categorically forbidden, even for scientific or educational reasons.
Greenpeace Russia has condemned the conditions as "torture," and warned that capturing whales in these numbers threatens the animals' population in the long term.
The Telegraph quoted Greenpeace Russia's Oganes Targulyan as saying that although the law permits the capture of 13 killer whales per year, "no one is taking into account that at least one orca is killed for every one that is caught."
"Catching them at this tempo, we risk losing our entire orca population."
In the nearby Kamchatka region, orca number's have decreased so drastically that they are now listed as endangered.

An update: _There was a second Tigress. She was surrounded by villagers, they beat her alive and then they ran her over with a truck! AS SHE STAYED ON PROTECTED LAND!!! Now that was sick and ugly.The villagers were probably paid big money to murder her that way because they did not want her coat tainted with blood stains. Think about it...how could anyone form a circle and beat a tiger to death without the animal using all her strength to fight? And running her over with a tractor? My God it must have taken them hours to beat and run her over unless she was tranquilized first then beaten and crushed.
A tiger would only leave the brush if she was being terrorized.
This whole story stinks of human lies. Truth? It's more likely that the great beasts were murdered for trophies and to be cut up and sold to big buyers for exotic potions.
And please notice that in the picture below. She was shot in the side. Also notice the lack of blood. She was shot at close range with a pistol so the blood would not taint the rug that the coward-hunters a father and son want for the carpet so they can stand proudly over her body like two idiots.
The faux story of the reasons surrounding the murders is totally fabricated.

Here's another alternative fact. According to the made-up story the proof offered up was that that the Tigress killed people and left their heads severed. Not true.
First of all tigers don't sever heads and walk away with it. There's not much to eat. Rather they gut their victims eat the intestines and if anything carry away the arms and legs.
Curse on both the murderous son and father who hatched this sinful ugly and evil plan.
If we keep up at this rate Trump will be sending so many soldiers that there will be a ratio of 3 to 1.

I was inspired to write this article when I heard a Marijuana company selling stocks on the radio! It made me angry because I feel that this industry is taking advantage of people who have illusions about the profitability in this sector and that bothered me.. so here we are.
There are a couple of businesses that are surrounded by a money making myth and the pot business is one. Think "Gold Rush" or better yet FOMO (the fear of missing out).
Some people believe that profits in this sector are a no brainer and they can't loose. But guess what? A ton of money IS being lost. Don't make it yours.
My advice? Hold off on purchasing stock in Marijuana companies but if you are determined to venture into this very risky market focus on big brand pharmaceuticals who will be poised to buy up the little companies at some point and distribute to hospitals and drug stores directly. Have you noticed there are a lot of pharmacies cropping up all of a sudden?
And don't hold your breath not only will you be looking at hundred dollar share trades, the Federal Government is still negotiating their cut before legalization. Think prohibition.
One of the biggest red flags with these businesses right now is that they are offering their IPO's way too soon.(That's when a company decides to start selling shares on the stock exchange). It's a fatal mistake for an investor because many of these businesses are simply cash hungry and are looking to get themselves out of debt rather than investing in the future of their company.
This is the place where the penny stocks live, dancing with big time gamblers scammers and con artists. Think the Wolf of Wall Street.
However there ARE some jewels in the bunch if you can find them and that's why the risk is so high. Usually these companies tank and end up being worth nothing and bankrupt.
The stock market is like going to a casino that the big boys own and they run the market. That's why whenever Trump says something about Trade Talks the stock goes up and down depending on the status of the deal.....which is totally predictable (Many people feel that Trump is insider trading right in front of our faces. But that's for another article)
Most Marijuana IPO'S are NOT even in the zone to go public.
Exhibit A. Last week the message got out that Coca-Cola was exploring combining CBC a legal marajuana derivative that doesn't get you high, God forbid! (That's like taking alcohol out of beer) into their products and order to do so needed to purchase young Marijuana based companies with fairly cheap stock. And by the way, Coca-Cola does have a history of using drugs in their soda and added Cocaine in their early days, so the idea was not that far fetched.

I thought that this was great but held off buying, others were not so lucky and they got seduced by the FOMO factor and the Gold Rush began and small Marijuana entities sold stock like crazy. But low and behold, Coca-Cola changed their mind because of Federal Regulations and the smaller companies' stock dropped like a stone. Ironically, on the flip side Coca-Cola's stock rose slightly because they did not have to invest huge amounts money and investors financial fears were quelled.
And so I have concluded that after all my research it is impossible at this point to determine which Marijuana stock will stay standing. I think that those on the market today are extremely volitile.
Finally what you should know about all stocks on young start ups is that many sell what is called Restricted Stocks. That means you can't sell for a period of time maybe a year or more so when the stock plummets so does your investment.
I stand by my advice. Do not buy stocks in this sector. If anything changes I will let you know because I know there's a way to make some good money from stock in this market I just don't see it at the price range (a penny to ten bucks max), that I play in.
And if you have read this article all the way to the end you deserve a tip. Take ALL of your money OUT of the market. The time draws near. There will be a major collapse. That's because our President is a "debt fuctioner" and the market is currently being propped up by billions of dollars of debt. The bill is coming due and it won't be pretty.

Actors apparently don't think it's good enough for them to do their job and get paid. They want us to give away three hours of our valuable time to watch them GET an award.
On top of that they gather to promote Hollywood propaganda that says; you too can act and get paid... if only you have a dream.
This is what I want to know. Where's my award for working at my job? Where's yours? In fact I think Emmy Award watchers should get an award for wasting three hours of their time watching egotistical insecure actors prance about patting themselves on the back.
Go away ALL award shows.

I am very excited by this month's Wired magazine. July was about the bitcom thing. The message I got? Stay away. This world is being run by people who consider themselves God's and billions of dollars, mostly money launderers, give these companies paper currency for something that is not tangible.
But August oh my! There are articles on eating insects, creating genetic food, AI growth and dangers and a poet who hides treasure-hunt-messages in his poems. (I should do that, at least mine would get read! Very clever). It was great to see a poem in Wired. This is definitely a collectors edition!
There is also a great article on Oprah's OWN production company and another on a writers' kid which was bland.
Note to mothers: When they say write about what you know they were not referring to writing about the genius you think your kids are!

Our immigrant boys have been kidnapped from their parents by the American government, are being kept in prison like facilites in abandoned Walmarts and given two hours a day outside. They cannot speak English they are terrorized and tramatized.
Where are they keeping the young girls who are having their periods who were ripped from their mothers?
If anyone out there can kick some ass on this atrocity please please help!!!
I wonder how much Presidential pardons are going for these days and I wonder if I can purchase one with a futures option just in case I need it for my grand kid.

President Trump on Thursday nominated Ronald Mortensen, a vocal critic of undocumented immigrants, to serve as assistant secretary of State for the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration.
The Utah native is the founder of theUtah Coalition on Illegal Immigrationand serves as a fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies. The group, which says its mission is to highlight the negative effects of legal and illegal immigration, is considered a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Mortensen currently serves as a fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies, an anti-immigrant hate group that’s part of a network founded by white nationalist John Tanton. The Center for Immigration Studies is well known for producing shoddy research that demonizes immigrants with falsehoods. While he’s been there, Mortensen has played a role in exaggerating — against all evidence — a link between immigration and crime.
In 2017, Mortensen wrote about this link in a column for The Hill. The headline: “Most illegal aliens routinely commit felonies.” The felonies Mortensen was referring to were not the grisly sort Trump prefers to highlight, but rather largelypaperwork-related.
Mortensen has also been highly critical of Dreamers since DACA was announced in 2012. He insists that Dreamers are not the “sympathetic young people” they’re often made out to be.
“It is important to remember that DACA applies to individuals up to age 31. The result is that many adult Dreamers have long since terminated their studies, and many have committed serious felonies that impact American men, women, and children,”he wrote in The Hill last year.
In his writing, Mortensen frequently refers to the “myth of the noble, law-abiding illegal alien.” He has accused undocumented immigrants of “destroying the lives of American men, women, and children.” And now Trump wants him to lead the federal agency whose mission is to “provide protection, ease suffering, and resolve the plight of persecuted and uprooted people around the world.”
Immigration-rights advocates have been quick to criticize Mortensen’s appointment. “It’s pretty clear that he really doesn’t use facts about immigration when he’s talking about his extremely anti-immigrant agenda,” Luis Garza, executive director of a Utah-based Latino outreach organization, told the Salt LakeTribune. “ I think it’s very concerning for somebody like him to be in such an important position that works with immigrants and refugees.”
Frank Sharry, founder of the pro-immigrant group America’s Voice, told ABC News that Mortensen’s appointment would be akin to putting white supremacist Richard Spencer in charge of the Department of Justice’s civil-rights unit. “It’s not the fox guarding the chicken coop,” Sharry said. “It’s a monster in charge of the chicken coop.”
Ultimately though, it’s the opinions of the U.S. Senate that matter most here as Mortensen will need to be confirmed before he assumes a post at the State Department.
