While watching 60 minutes last night I happened upon a story by Morley Safer called "Fountain of Youth in an Rx bottle". And what's the story here? It's about Sirtris Labs, combining 1000 bottles of wine into one pill. What outraged me are the lab scenes.
The real story that 60 minutes missed was the blatant cruelty that their lab monkey's are suffering. Check out these cages!! And kept there for up to 27 years, isolated from any contact with their brethren. Look at these pics and tell me if this doesn't violate animal rights laws. I want these monkey's out of this nightmare and into an sanctuary!!!!
