I wonder how much Presidential pardons are going for these days and I wonder if I can purchase one with a futures option just in case I need it for my grand kid.

Trump and Anti Immigrant Hate Group?
I could not help but reprint this article from the New Yorker Magazine By Adam K. Raymond.
Not only are we ripping children from their parents and giving them to "sponsers" but our President wants to give the job to a White Supremacist! And I did NOT say S.S. Oops. No. I said I.C.E.
President Trump on Thursday nominated Ronald Mortensen, a vocal critic of undocumented immigrants, to serve as assistant secretary of State for the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration.
The Utah native is the founder of theUtah Coalition on Illegal Immigrationand serves as a fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies. The group, which says its mission is to highlight the negative effects of legal and illegal immigration, is considered a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Mortensen currently serves as a fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies, an anti-immigrant hate group that’s part of a network founded by white nationalist John Tanton. The Center for Immigration Studies is well known for producing shoddy research that demonizes immigrants with falsehoods. While he’s been there, Mortensen has played a role in exaggerating — against all evidence — a link between immigration and crime.
In 2017, Mortensen wrote about this link in a column for The Hill. The headline: “Most illegal aliens routinely commit felonies.” The felonies Mortensen was referring to were not the grisly sort Trump prefers to highlight, but rather largelypaperwork-related.
Mortensen has also been highly critical of Dreamers since DACA was announced in 2012. He insists that Dreamers are not the “sympathetic young people” they’re often made out to be.
“It is important to remember that DACA applies to individuals up to age 31. The result is that many adult Dreamers have long since terminated their studies, and many have committed serious felonies that impact American men, women, and children,”he wrote in The Hill last year.
In his writing, Mortensen frequently refers to the “myth of the noble, law-abiding illegal alien.” He has accused undocumented immigrants of “destroying the lives of American men, women, and children.” And now Trump wants him to lead the federal agency whose mission is to “provide protection, ease suffering, and resolve the plight of persecuted and uprooted people around the world.”
Immigration-rights advocates have been quick to criticize Mortensen’s appointment. “It’s pretty clear that he really doesn’t use facts about immigration when he’s talking about his extremely anti-immigrant agenda,” Luis Garza, executive director of a Utah-based Latino outreach organization, told the Salt LakeTribune. “ I think it’s very concerning for somebody like him to be in such an important position that works with immigrants and refugees.”
Frank Sharry, founder of the pro-immigrant group America’s Voice, told ABC News that Mortensen’s appointment would be akin to putting white supremacist Richard Spencer in charge of the Department of Justice’s civil-rights unit. “It’s not the fox guarding the chicken coop,” Sharry said. “It’s a monster in charge of the chicken coop.”
Ultimately though, it’s the opinions of the U.S. Senate that matter most here as Mortensen will need to be confirmed before he assumes a post at the State Department.

Yeah! My Popular Science Came today!
My Popular Science Magazine Summer 2018 arrived today. This is the first on my list of favorites. I like it because it has a very level-headed approach to science unlike for instance Wired which touts technological propaganda. (And it was my Dad’s favorite. It reminds me of him).
I've just skimmed through but here are a couple of highlights. The White Rhino Sudan who went extinct last month can be “reincarnated” (my word) through invitro using eggs from another zoo. Problem is you’ve got a 10-foot journey to reach the Uterus which can be a life-threatening procedure. Enter Thomas Hildebrandt he's the go-to guy for artificial insemination- lots of practice in elephants. Good Luck Thomas I’m counting on you!
Coolest top Articles
1. Genetically grown meat is here to stay. You will be seeing hotdogs hit the market in the next couple of years. This means the slaughter of millions can stop the horrors of the blood lakes will dry up and good karma will reign over the land. The meat lobby has got to be pissed about that!
I know your first reaction is gross, but we said the same thing about Tequila and look how we love it now!
2. This one is serious.
Plants use Co2 to grow and when the levels of Co2 rise the plants grow faster which on the surface seems like good thing, but on the flip side plants stop gathering nutrients from soil effectively when this happens we create plant junk food. Think hydroponics. The scary part is that things like rice (a staple for most people in the world) will lose a significant percent of its nutrients meaning less iron, protein and zinc which will affect millions of mothers and children leaving them vulnerable to diarrhea, respiratory diseases and malaria. Adding to this the extra sugar in the plants will cause diabetes to rise dramatically. Be alarmed be very alarmed. Kale in the 1950's had 23 percent more iron than the kale today. I know, who eats Kale? But the point is about growing fast food veggies!
Moving on:
They are trying to cultivate plants in space but it's not going very well, I understand Marijuana thrives! (my guess). They are hardy little buggers and Hydroponic works!
The genetically altered apple is a crazy thing and you can follow it in a graph. Popular Science is big on graphs, so you don't have to be a smarty pants to learn.
They have a huge graph on Age and types of Death. If you are over 65 you will most likely die of a pneumonia from the life support tubes that will get infected?
And a bunch of cool people like Meghan Tomasita Cosgriff-Hernandez (US military) are in the Indian Himalayas looking for DNA samples of 300 Americans who had gone missing in 1944. 600 planes crashed in the mountains by war’s end! Who knew.
We can now transplant one woman’s uterus into another. Ethically catastrophic yes, but they are doing it in Sweden. I'm not sure why a woman would do this because they can just transplant her eggs into a surrogate. What's up with that? I don't like it one bit and I imagine all the chimpanzees in animal testing labs who had their uteruses transplanted and impregnated with horrific results.
There are bird feeders that are squirrel proof and some cool tours you can take to south Africa China, Egypt and Dubai. Can you imagine tripping with all those smart people? Ooops I mean travelling not tripping, but you could trip and travel. I do that quite often.

Cougar Murderers
I am telling you that something stinks about this cougar attack.
This is the second attack in 100 years? I repeat. These slaughtered beasts have only taken two people over the last 100 years.
That means that cougars do NOT kill man. They avoid man.
What is wrong here?
I bet the boys attacked had been playing with that cat for a while.
And the animal was not euthanized it was shot.
Here's the scenerio.
Cougar watches his mate shot and killed legally by hunters.
He has been witnessing his kind murder since he was a cub.
Their heads taken, paws severed from their legs, teeth ripped out as trophies and coats skinned off their warm bodies.
He hates man.
He attacks man
Good for him.
He is murdered.
Why is it so hard for people to believe that animals have eyes to see and ears to hear and hold memories just like the rest of us.
Good for you cougar.
We have taken thousands of you to the brink of extinction and you have taken one.
Cougar Murdered
NORTH BEND, Wash. (AP) — Two friends on a morning mountain bike ride 30 miles (48 kilometers) east of Seattle were attacked by a cougar, killing one of the men and leaving the second hospitalized in what authorities described as a rare occurrence.
The cougar was later found up a tree near the dead man's body, where agents for the state's Fish and Wildlife police shot and killed it hours after the Saturday attack, the Seattle Times reported.
Self Driving Cars and My Rights
I should have the right to know if there is a self driving car on the road next to me, so I can stay far away!
How about some kind of identification system?
Maybe a sticker on the license plate?
And ...who do I sue if a self driving car hits me? The driver? Car manufacturer; computer component company, GPS systems?

Deportation Bus: SS Welcome
I have mentioned before that the SS shadow has descended. Check this out!
Republicanism candidate for governor ofGeorgia is driving a “deportation bus” around the state, promising to fill it withundocumented immigrants and “send them back to where they came from”.
Michael Williams –a Georgia state senator and, according to his website, the first elected official in the state to endorse Donald Trump – announced this week that he would drive a bus around the state to raise awareness of the “overwhelming problem of illegal immigration”.
“Throughout his bus tour of sanctuary cities, Williams will expose how dangerous illegal aliens ruin local economies, cost American jobs, increase healthcare costs, and lower education standards,” a statement on hisFacebook page reads.
A message painted on the back of the bus reads: ‘Danger: Murderers, rapists, kidnappers, child molesters and other criminals onboard.”
“We’re not just gonna track ‘em and watch ‘em roam around our state,’ Mr Williams says, slapping the bus for emphasis. “We’re gonna put ‘em on this bus and send ‘em home”.

Melania Trump in the Rose Garden
IN REAL TIME
I think the signs on either side of the podium are lame and the grammar? Wait. No. BE BEST. What is that about? Why not "Be the Best?"
Neither the font or colors work.
Can't be. She is giving a video performance?
I don't blame her. I blame her staff.
And bullying? Oh come on. She's married to the worst Cyber bully EVER.
She should have worn her white hat! The leather coat seems stiff and blends too closely with her skin.
I do like her. Her advisors should be fired.
Gutsy, classy.
Hold your head high Melania!!!
