Arkansas carried out its first execution since 2005 last week.
And when speaking about the next person up for execution the authorities were asked why they were in such a hurry to move the process along?
They replied, "the reason the executions must be kept on track is because the lethal injection fluid would expire on April 30".
For real.
I asked myself, "Does injection fluid really expire? Is that why executions messed up in the past? Maybe we don't have anymore lethal injection fluid in the entire world? Maybe we don't want to waste perfectly good injection fluid?
Good reason to hurry up and kill a man don't you think?
Have you ever heard something so ridiculous?
